A digital aerial is used for capturing clear digital television reception so that your television can display clear pictures and play uninterrupted sound. In case you’ve used cheap quality cables, you should upgrade them otherwise it will display poor signals. The quality of your connectors and wires will affect the functioning of your antennas.

Adjust the direction of your aerial and make sure that the aerial pointer is oriented in the direction of the nearest transmitter. Keep altering the direction of your aerials in order to set a direction of perfect signal reception.

You should purchase a good quality digital aerial signal booster or amplifier if the signal quality is still low. These boosters are small boxes which are placed between television sets and aerials. They can multiply the strength of your received signals up to 32 times. If you’re using the aerials for multiple television sets, you’ll have to use additional boosting units for this purpose.

Purchasing the digital aerial and boosters is not enough; you need to be familiar with the process of installation as well. You can consider hiring a local digital aerial installation service for this task or do it on your own if you’ve necessary technical skills and experience of installing electronic devices.
